a day at the beach in pacific city

chapman swifts

once a year, a flock of thousands of vaux swifts come to visit chapman elementary school, swirling and flying into the chimney of the school nightly for a couple of weeks. thousands of onlookers picnic and watch the swifts as they fly about. the johnson five joined the fun and did some grass sledding.

ryder goes to pre-school

ryder is in ms. birch's class at hillside and loves going to school on tuesday and thursday (9am-1pm)

mak's first day of kindergarten at chapman

what a milestone! our first day of kindergarten at chapman. mak is in mr. melling's class in room 5 and loves his new big school.

betty comes to town
